Valentine's in Kolob

Many great things about this weekend....3 day weekend, Valentine's, and free entrance to National Parks! For Valentine's, Brady took me to Kolob Canyon (part of Zion's National Park) to hike the Taylor Creek Trail. It was so beautiful! On our way up the trail, we pretty much had it to ourselves. We took our time and took a lot of pictures. Here are a few (or more!) of my favorite....
Along the way, there was two old cabins. Unfortunately we couldn't go inside because they aren't stable, but they were fun to look around and in!
The hike led to a double arch alcove. The colors on the rock walls was amazing!
We had read online that if we continued along the creek for another 1/4 mile we would find a little waterfall. Unfortunately there wasn't much water, but it was still beautiful.
The canyon road itself was only about 5 miles long. The overlook at the end was magnificent!
I'm so grateful for my handsome Valentine! I love him so much and am glad that we could spend the day together!!
